Novomatic Approved in Italy and Spain in Line with Player Protection Standards

NOVOMATIC, a well-established operator of gaming venues and technology supplier, continues to promote responsible gambling. After getting certifications in Austria, Germany, the UK, and the Netherlands, the company also received approvals in Italy and Spain.

It is the premiere brand in Austria to receive certification according to international standards, which are among the strictest in the sphere of customer protection at online casinos. The biggest part of the Group’s revenues is certified according to G4. Every three years, these standards are audited according to the newest scientific findings and follow 100 criteria from different business areas such as internal guidelines on prevention training, customer and youth protection, responsible marketing activities, education on the potential risks, self-limitation, and more.

Commenting on the latest milestone, Johannes Gratzl, Member of the Executive Board of NOVOMATIC says that the successful G4 approval according to the highest global player protection standard in Italy and Spain is an incredible success for the company as it proves the high importance of customer and youth protection at NOVOMATIC.

NOVOMATIC has passed all the audits in five markets including the Netherlands, and its recent audits in Italy and Spain show that the selected route works well. NOVOMATIC shows that Responsible Gambling and harm minimization are the main priorities.
