Live Casinos accepting PayPal & Fees Overview

PayPal is a well-known brand and the world’s largest e-wallet with over 100 million active users. It’s an accepted payment method and used by top-tier online casinos, especially in UK, Spain and Germany. Digital wallets like Skrill and Neteller focus on the iGaming industry with majority of their customers being either poker, sports betting or casino players, but PayPal is much different. Their core business seems to be eBay customers and regular day to day P2P payments. It’s a bit harder to actually find good live dealer casinos that accepted PayPal, but we’ve managed to get a few listed.

Making Deposits With This Method

To make a deposit you firstly need to create a PayPal account and link your bank account or credit card. After this simple process, you will be able to top up your casino account with this payment method. Deposits are normally free and processed instantly. The funds will appear in your player account shortly afterwards. Deposit limits using PayPal are generally very high.

Making Withdrawals With This Method

Withdrawals can take up to 24 hours, depending on a casino and some minor processing fees are likely to be involved. Together with other e-wallets PayPal is a great option for those who want to enjoy their winnings as quickly as possible.

Our Opinion

If you are from the UK, Ireland, Germany or Spain this is a great casino payment solution and up to par with what Skrill and Neteller offers in most countries. Outside of these countries you are unlikely to be able to use PayPal for gambling related deposits/withdrawals though, so the two aforementioned e-wallets are probably your best bet.

Frequently Asked Questions About PayPal

Yes. When we conducted our research Ladbrokes and Grosvenor both had a £5 minimum deposit for PayPal. If this information is no longer accurate please get in touch so we can update it.

PayPal’s non restricted list currently includes UK, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Denmark, Italy, Sweden, Norway and USA (for New Jersey residents only).

Currently PayPal is available for deposits at casinos that are licensed in the state of New Jersey. Betfair is one of them and they do offer PayPal as one of the deposit options.

Outside of NJ the answer is no. Though it’s pretty realistic that PayPal casino deposits will be available in more states in the future, as they slowly legalise online gambling across USA.
