Evolution has introduced its Ice Fishing live game show to the US market, bringing the popular title to players in New Jersey, Michigan and Delaware following its strong international performance.

The launch marks another expansion of the supplier's live casino operations in the country. In New Jersey, the release coincides with the opening of Evolution's fourth Live Casino studio in Atlantic City. Michigan players will access the game through the company's Grand Rapids studio, which began operations earlier this year.

Since its international debut in August 2025, Ice Fishing has attracted more than 26 million players worldwide. Evolution also reported that participants have caught over 469 million fish through the game, highlighting its performance within the company's live game show portfolio.

The US introduction follows another significant milestone reported in May 2026, when the title exceeded 23,000 concurrent players. This placed Ice Fishing among a small group of Evolution games to surpass the 20,000-player threshold, a benchmark previously associated with the company's established Crazy Time title.

Evolution expects to introduce the game in additional regulated US jurisdictions over the coming months, extending its availability to more operators and customers.

Ice Fishing Combines a Money Wheel With Three Bonus Games

Developed by Evolution, Ice Fishing uses a frozen fishing environment as the setting for a live game show built around a 53-segment virtual money wheel.

Each round begins with the main wheel, where players can select instant payout opportunities or pursue entry into one of three dedicated bonus games: Lil’ Blues, Big Oranges and Huge Reds.

The format moves quickly between the main wheel and its bonus features. Selected wheel segments can also receive randomly assigned multipliers of up to 10x, increasing their potential payout values.

The combination of wheel-based betting and themed bonus rounds forms the central gameplay structure. Evolution has incorporated the fishing concept throughout the presentation, giving the title a distinct identity within its live casino collection.

The game was originally designed to support as many as 20,000 simultaneous participants when it launched in August 2025. However, player demand eventually exceeded that initial capacity.

In May 2026, Evolution announced that Ice Fishing had passed 23,000 concurrent players. The achievement placed the game among the supplier's most heavily played titles, with Crazy Time having previously stood out as the only game in its portfolio to exceed that level.

The milestone came less than a year after the game's original release and provided an indication of its international audience growth before the US launch.

Evolution Plans Further US Market Expansion

Jacob Claesson, Chief Executive Officer at Evolution North America, said the company was pleased to bring the game to American players following its international reception.

“Ice Fishing has become a viral hit with players around the world, and we’re excited to now bring that experience to the U.S. It’s fun, fast and unlike anything else in our Live Casino portfolio. This is just the beginning for Ice Fishing in the U.S., and we look forward to bringing the game to more players and more markets over the coming months.”

The initial rollout covers three states with regulated online gaming markets. New Jersey's launch also expands Evolution's physical live casino infrastructure in Atlantic City, where the company is now operating its fourth studio.

In Michigan, the game is streamed from the Grand Rapids facility, which opened earlier in 2026. Delaware is also included in the initial distribution, although Evolution did not identify a separate studio location for the state's launch.

The company plans to extend Ice Fishing into additional regulated US markets in the coming months. The expansion will provide further opportunities for operators to incorporate the title into their live casino offerings.
