PaySafeCard is one of the two popular prepaid cards that are used for casino deposits with the other being uKash. It started as a standalone company in 2000 and was acquired by Skrill in 2013 which merged with Neteller to create PaySafe Group.

PaySafeCard is sold in some 450,000 locations worldwide and you can buy your prepaid card with the following amount: € 10, € 25, € 50 or € 100.

This makes it a perfect deposit method for those looking to play for these kinds of amounts. Of course you can also use several cards, but I would say this method is good for those looking to deposit €10 to €500. Anything more and you are probably better off with some other methods.

Making Deposits With This Method

Making an instant deposit with PaySafeCard is very simple. Firstly you need to buy a card with desired denomination, add it to your account by typing 16-digit PIN on the card to deposit at live dealer casinos. You will be charged a small fee, which varies from site to site. You can top up your prepaid cards only in fixed amounts, so unused money can’t be withdrawn from the card. In addition, you can make larger payments by combining multiple PaySafeCard vouchers.

Making Withdrawals With This Method

The main disadvantage of this payment method is that you can’t make a withdrawal with PaySafeCard unless you have an active PaySafeCard account at www.paysafecard.com, which will cost you a £2 monthly fee. If you decide to use an account, withdrawals will be transferred to your bank account within 1 - 4 working days. Alternatively you can also use the prepaid MasterCard that is linked to your PSC account.

Who Should Use This Payment Method?

This payment is perfect for casual players. If you play multiple times a week it's recommended to use a method that makes it easier to deposit/withdraw funds with more flexible amounts such as Neteller.

Top 3 Benefits For Paysafecard

  • High level of convenience

You won’t ever have to fill any online forms, verify any data or wait for the transactions to be completed. PaySafeCard lets you enter 16 digits and play right away.
  • Anonymity

PaySafeCard is anonymous and you don't have to disclose personal data to them unless you want to order the prepaid MasterCard.
  • One stop shop

If you're not looking to gamble for high stakes PaySafeCard is pretty much the payment option to use. Few hundred euros worth of deposits is the sweet spot for this payment option.

Our Opinion

We use it from time to time when there's a new casino to try and we got some cash on hand. The upside for using it is simplicity and the fact that most casinos do let you claim deposit bonuses with this, at least more than with Neteller and Skrill, but the downside definitely is the limits. Up to £200 per voucher can sometimes be too little.

Frequently Asked Questions About PaySafeCard

It's 250 euros, according to their website. This is only for the voucher though and users of "My PaySafeCard", which is essentially their e-wallet solution, are not affected by this limit.

Paysafe seems to be a good way to deposit via a prepay voucher, although I find alot less casinos now offering paysafe and only skrill which I tend to deposit my paysafe onto....and this causes the issue of the high fee taken from the paysafe, .

I do like the fact that paysafe is pre paid then used rather than straight from my bank card or accounts.

Ahh yes.

Ahh yes. The coveted Paysafe card, The necessary walk of shame when walking into a gas station at 2am only to buy one of these while pretending it's for your serious adult online purchases when in reality both you and the lady behind the counter know you're just gonna burn it in a sh*tty slot the moment you step out of the store. Anyways, then one random paysafe you buy will get your account permanently locked because paysafe will retroactively and arbitrarily decide it was "not your's" and unless you can cough up the 2 day old tiny piece of paper that you throw away every time immediately after using the code. I didn't realize it at the time, but getting banned by paysafe was a good thing!

I find this option convenient to fund your casino account but please be aware of certain country restrictions as certain functions are only available to a list of countries.

I find this option convenient to fund your casino account but please be aware of certain country restrictions as certain functions are only available to a list of countries. One downside is the very high transactional fees but it's a fast and efficient way to start playing almost instantly at casinos that offer this banking method. Also not offered at alot of online casinos but you will have a pleasant experience with deposits and withdrawals at casinos that do offer this method.

Paysafe isn't a bad method to deposit. However there are fees when purchasing vouchers, and you must be careful when selecting the currency of the voucher. Paysafe vouchers can be purchased online which is nice.

I’ve used Paysafecard for casino deposits, and it works fine but has some clear downsides. Deposits are easy and usually instant, which is good if I want to start playing quickly. However, in Sweden I can’t really use cash to buy it anymore, since I have to pay with a card when purchasing the voucher.

However, in Sweden I can’t really use cash to buy it anymore, since I have to pay with a card when purchasing the voucher. That removes a lot of the privacy benefit that Paysafecard is known for. Another limitation is that I can’t use it for withdrawals, so I always need a different method to cash out. This makes it less convenient compared to options that handle both deposits and withdrawals. There can also be small fees depending on how it’s used. Overall, it’s simple and safe for deposits, but not the most flexible or private option for me.

Been a good while since ever having to use paysafe. — but when I was left with only that option during my time at bet365 and betway, it was pretty much seamless and never had issue except for one actually. For whatever reason 1 year or 2 later bet365 clsimed one of my paysafe transactions was reversed.

For whatever reason 1 year or 2 later bet365 clsimed one of my paysafe transactions was reversed. — never provided me the date or code & I never found any trace of a bounce in my email from paysafe. Not to mention 12* months later. —- never going to pay that, and considering a a bet365 issue rather than paysafe.

Paysafe card is easy and simple and anonymous but there are few issues you cant get your money back to psc there was just one site I played in my life that offered it and it was bgo.com So your payout will likely go back to your bank account unfortunately

Paysafe is a good simple way to credit your casino accounts, without leaving your bank statement in a mess with casino transactions. A paper voucher feom the gas station, or now on the mypaysafecard app, so you dont have to leave the couch to get a paysafe.
