Not particularly a fan using my credit cards online. Especially when it comes to gambling and overseas casinos. This method is not for me but I am sure others will live this. I will stick to using crypto currency.
Do not use this method whatsoever. I do not recommend at all because for one American Express doesn't really play nice with online casinos. And then good luck finding a site that will actually accept American Express.

And then good luck finding a site that will actually accept American Express. But if you do happen to find that site then expect some really big fees because most credit cards and especially American Express treats online casinos as cash advances so I highly advise to steer clear
This isn't a serious review from me for once, but the AI-generated comments here really amused me. It's interesting to see who all owns an American Express card and uses it to deposit money into online casinos because they think it's so reliable and secure... :D
This is one of the older methods that were available at most casinos years ago. Its reliable and quick but haven't seen this option available at many casino of late. High fees are also a negative but getting your funds credited or withdrawing using this method has always been ok.

Read moreI’ve tried using American Express for casino payments, and it’s not always the easiest option. Deposits can work fine when accepted, but many casinos don’t support AMEX, which can be frustrating. When it does work, payments are quick and secure, which I like.
I’ve tried using American Express for casino payments, and it’s not always the easiest option. Deposits can work fine when accepted, but many casinos don’t support AMEX, which can be frustrating. When it does work, payments are quick and secure, which I like. However, withdrawals are rarely sent back to the card, so I need an alternative method to receive winnings. It’s reliable as a card in general, but for casino use, the limited acceptance makes it less convenient compared to other options.
Read moreNot a recommendation I would give anyone looking to use Amex as a deposit method for online casinos given the high fees & purchases being considered cash advances.
Not a recommendation I would give anyone looking to use Amex as a deposit method for online casinos given the high fees & purchases being considered cash advances. Not just that but it can also easily be flagged on their system as a fraudulent transaction leading to card being frozen and having to deal with long wait times contacting support to have the card unblocked & or trying to get the purchase approved there after. Really not a good option to use when depositing to casino websites & especially those affiliated with crypto. Too messy & expensive to justify the hassles that may come with it

In my experience, this was the most difficult card to get online casinos to accept, and also the most often turned-down, when it came to online casino purchases. I often had to run the charges two or three times and it was such a royal pain. However, they had no problem letting me spend till my heart‘s content, even though they claimed a solid anti-gambling stance, where in China did they believe my money was going? Turn a blind eye and wait for my minimum monthly payment I guess. 🤷♂️

Disputes are handled fairly quickly, which I really appreciate. Acceptance isn’t quite as universal as Visa or Mastercard, and some merchants still don’t take it, but when it is accepted, transactions are smooth. The rewards and perks can be worth it if you use them properly. Overall, it feels more premium than most cards, even if it comes with higher fees and requires a bit more planning to use effectively. It’s been a consistant experience overall.
Read moreAmex has always brought up thw rear when it comes to the "big 3" of credit cards. Visa and Mastercard are almost always going to be accepted anywhere in the world where a card can be swiped. Amex, on the other hand....you never really know for sure unless you check ahead of time.
Amex has always brought up thw rear when it comes to the "big 3" of credit cards. Visa and Mastercard are almost always going to be accepted anywhere in the world where a card can be swiped. Amex, on the other hand....you never really know for sure unless you check ahead of time. Its not always a given, though it has gotten better. I am primarily basing this on my experiences at physical locations and not so much for online purchases. A lot of atm machines would flat out reject an amex card back in the day. Surely that is no longer the case. At the end of tbe day, any kind of deal you seek out with any of these companies is always going to be leveraged by your credit score.
