Our Opinion

WebMoney seems like the way to go if you are looking for a legitimate e-wallet solution and want to hold multiple currencies in one place. They are not as widely accepted as Skrill or Neteller at the casinos we have reviewed so far. This is understandable because our reviewed casinos target EU, UK and Canada while WebMoney is mostly about CIS countries.

Frequently Asked Questions About WebMoney

The core difference is that Skrill and Neteller are tailoring their service mainly for the iGaming market, while WebMoney operates just about everywhere. WebMoney is also targeting the CIS countries - mainly Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. What we do like about WebMoney is that you can hold a number of different currencies in one place, and this includes Bitcoin and Litecoin.

I do not recommend Webmoney either for deposits in casinos or simply as a service. I used this payment service from 2013 to 2022. Huge commissions when trying to transfer from one currency to another, there can be up to 10-15%. The support service is not customer-oriented at all, they may not respond for 1-2 days.

WebMoney is a reliable choice if you’re in a region where it’s commonly accepted and you want a fast, secure way to manage casino funds without sharing your bank info. However, its limited acceptance worldwide and occasional fees mean I usually keep it as a secondary option alongside other payment methods.

I don't use WebMoney for online gambling because its limited acceptance at top casinos and the cumbersome verification process hinder my betting flow. Despite its multi-currency support and security benefits, the extra delays and occasional fees just disrupt my need for fast, seamless deposits.

slow processing times and occasional technical issues, making it less reliable for quick transactions. Overall, it may not be the best option if you want fast and seamless deposits.

I have used Webmoney when travelling in Russia and some Russian casinos I played at while there accept it. The sign up process is quick and the fees are low but there is only a limited amount of casinos who accept this payment method and so I have only used it twice
