Amusnet Italy will serve as Headline Sponsor of the EGR Italy Awards 2026 on October 20, marking its third consecutive year in the leading sponsorship role. The ceremony will take place at the Rome Cavalieri hotel in Rome, bringing together companies active in Italy’s regulated online gaming market.

The sponsorship comes as Amusnet continues to expand its Italian operations. The supplier has secured nominations in the Casino Platform Supplier and Casino Content Supplier categories and recently broadened its distribution through an agreement with Entain’s bwin and Gioco Digitale brands.

“Italy continues to be a major focus market for Amusnet, and returning as Headline Sponsor reflects our strong momentum in the region,” shares Polina Nedyalkova, Director at Amusnet Italy. “We view our role as far more than just a content provider – we are a long-term strategic ally dedicated to delivering real value for local operators. Backed by a portfolio exceeding 250 top-performing games, we remain focused on shaping the future of the local iGaming through shared success.”

Two Nominations Recognize Amusnet’s Italian Business

Amusnet announced its two nominations last month, securing places on the shortlist for both Casino Platform Supplier and Casino Content Supplier. The recognition comes as the company seeks to strengthen its position in Italy’s regulated online gaming sector through its casino content and technology offerings.

The EGR Italy Awards focus on businesses operating within the country’s regulated online gaming market. The 2026 programme includes 29 categories covering areas such as innovation, customer engagement, sustainability and product development.

The awards are open to companies active in Italy’s regulated iGaming environment, with an independent judging process overseen by professional services firm Deloitte. Deloitte is responsible for adjudicating and officiating the selection process.

Winners will be announced at the October 20 ceremony in Rome, where operators, suppliers, affiliates and other industry participants will gather to recognize achievements across the market.

For Amusnet, the headline sponsorship and two nominations arrive amid efforts to increase the distribution of its games and technology among Italian operators. The company’s stated portfolio exceeds 250 games, while its recent commercial activity includes partnerships intended to bring more titles to local audiences.

Entain Agreement Expands Distribution in Italy

Earlier in 2026, Amusnet reached an agreement with Entain to distribute its casino content through bwin and Gioco Digitale, two brands with established positions in the Italian online gaming market.

The rollout began on July 1. Under the agreement, Amusnet plans to introduce a certified portfolio of 174 games across the two platforms in phases, with further titles scheduled to follow as deployment continues.

The partnership gives Amusnet access to the audiences of both brands and expands its distribution through a major operator. It also supports the supplier’s wider strategy to grow its presence in Italy’s regulated market.

The phased approach means the full portfolio is not necessarily available on both platforms at once. Additional games are expected to be introduced over time as they are deployed across bwin and Gioco Digitale.

Awards Sponsorship Comes Amid Continued Market Activity

Amusnet’s return as headline sponsor places the company prominently at an event dedicated to Italy’s regulated online gaming industry. Its nominations also provide recognition across two areas of its business: casino content and platform services.

The EGR Italy Awards bring together operators and suppliers working within the country’s regulated framework. With Deloitte overseeing the judging process, the programme aims to assess participating companies across a range of industry functions.

Amusnet has positioned its Italian activity around expanding its content reach and maintaining commercial relationships with local operators. The Entain agreement represents one concrete step in that approach, while the October awards will provide a further opportunity for the company to raise its profile among industry stakeholders.
