Weekly Live Casino News Roundup #13
NetEnt Launches Perfect Blackjack
Last week Swedish developer NetEnt announced an ostensibly perfect game for newbie blackjack players – a title that automatically selects the best play for your (and the dealer’s) hands. Confused as to if you hit should hit on a soft 16, or double up on aces? Do you even know what any of that means?
Well then, this table might be for you. Currently only available at Grosvenor Casino, NetEnt expects to roll Perfect Blackjack out across the board in just a few months. But is it as perfect as the name suggest? Well, we love NetEnt’s standard live blackjack offering, and this game is made with the same high standard and attention to detail.
However, for the purpose of learning perfect blackjack strategy (or even just understanding the game a bit better), it falls a bit short. Still, always good to give these things a test run yourself to see if it might be more suited to your personal tastes. You can try Perfect Blackjack out today at Grosvenor Online Casino.
BetConstruct Partners with ViVo Gaming
BetConstruct has been making a ton of big moves this year already, and this new partnership is just the latest. We also appreciate ViVo Gaming’s live productions here at LiveDealers.com, even though they have their flaws.
This partnership with BetConstruct can hopefully pull the best out of both companies’ products. For example, ViVo has a strong international focus with games in Chinese, Spanish and Turkish – but the presentation on their tables can be a little lacking.
Here BetConstruct can come in and help them with the technical details, while keeping ViVo’s unique and interesting aspects at the fore. You can play ViVo’s Games at Jetbull and Leo Vegas.
Cashback Sundays at Jetbull
Jetbull has a lot of different providers that you might not find at many other casinos. So why not try some of them out with a guaranteed 10% cashback on any losses?
Simply make a deposit of £10 or more and play 10 rounds of any live casino title, on any Sunday of the month, to qualify. If you win money – you’ve won.
If you lose, you’ll get up to £100 cashback on your losses. This will be paid into your account on by 4pm the next day. It really is that easy!
Google Allows Casinos but Bans PPC Advertisement from Swedish Affiliates
Last week we revealed that the former Swedish government monopoly operator Svenska Spel was ceasing online advertising in 2019. This week it’s the turn of the affiliates, as Google is pressured into banning all PPC (Pay Per Click) advertising from non-registered gambling companies.
That basically puts everyone but casinos themselves out of the running for PPC advertising to iGaming customers in Sweden. It seems the Swedish government, despite only creating a regulated market for it last year, is already cracking down with tight regulation on online gambling.
Still, it will be nice for casinos to be able to expand their advertising methods slightly. Even if they will be without the backing of affiliates in this official space.
We’ll keep you updated here with any more developments in this ongoing story.
Spring Blackjack Challenges at Unibet
This Spring they have combined those two once more, with a set of blackjack challenges. Simply complete any two or three of the following missions between the 23rd of April and the 26th, to receive £25 or £50 respectively.
- Win a hand with five cards or more
- Win four hands in a row on the same seat
- Complete a 777 hand
Minimum bets are £5 and bet-behind bets do count towards this promotion – which is a rarity and nice to see.
