Evolution has added two new North American industry awards to its growing list of achievements, with the supplier receiving recognition for both its overall digital offering and the performance of its live game-show title Ice Fishing.

The company announced that it had been named Digital Supplier of the Year, while Ice Fishing collected the Digital Product of the Year award. The honors recognize Evolution’s recent performance in the North American market and come as the company prepares to introduce Ice Fishing in additional jurisdictions across the region.

“We’re delighted to have been named Digital Supplier of the Year, while Ice Fishing has also taken home Digital Product of the Year.”

Evolution said the awards reflect the efforts of its teams and the support it has received from operator partners throughout North America.

“These awards recognise the innovation, creativity and hard work of our teams, together with the continued support of our partners across North America.”

The company also confirmed that further expansion plans are in place for Ice Fishing.

“And there’s much more to come. Ice Fishing will soon be launching in additional markets across the region, bringing the experience to even more players.”

The supplier concluded its announcement by thanking those involved in the project and highlighting its plans for continued growth.

“A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to these achievements.

More markets. More players. More Ice Fishing coming soon.”

Ice Fishing Builds Momentum After Player Record

The latest awards follow a significant performance milestone achieved by Ice Fishing earlier this year. In May 2026, Evolution reported that the title exceeded 23,000 concurrent players, placing it among the most-played games in the company’s portfolio.

According to Evolution, the figure moved the game beyond the 20,000-player threshold that had previously been reached by only a limited number of titles. The company noted that Crazy Time had long been the standout product in that category and was previously the only game to surpass the benchmark.

Ice Fishing launched in August 2025 and quickly became part of Evolution’s expanding collection of live game-show products. The title combines traditional casino betting mechanics with a themed entertainment format built around an arctic environment and interactive bonus features.

At launch, the game was designed to accommodate up to 20,000 simultaneous participants. Subsequent growth in player activity pushed the title beyond that original capacity, resulting in the record-setting concurrent player numbers reported by the company.

The achievement represented a notable milestone for a product that had been available for less than a year.

Game Format Centers on Bonus Fishing Rounds

Set against a snowy tundra backdrop, Ice Fishing revolves around a 53-segment virtual wheel. Players place wagers on where the wheel’s flapper will stop, with outcomes leading either to direct payouts or entry into bonus rounds.

Several segments award immediate cash prizes. Standard Leaf segments can produce instant returns that may be increased by multipliers of up to 10x.

The game's main attraction lies in three feature rounds: Lil’ Blues, Big Oranges and Huge Reds. Each round revolves around a fishing mechanic in which the host catches fish that reveal attached multipliers.

Lil’ Blues offers potential rewards ranging from 3x to 100x. Big Oranges increases the possible payout range to between 4x and 200x. Huge Reds carries the largest rewards, with prizes capable of reaching 500x.

Multipliers accumulated during the base game can also carry over into the bonus features. When combined with bonus-round outcomes, total winnings can reach as much as 5,000 times the original stake.

During each feature sequence, the host gradually reveals the value associated with each catch, creating a progressive payout reveal that forms a central part of the game’s presentation.

From ICE Barcelona Debut to Regional Expansion

Ice Fishing was first unveiled during Evolution’s product showcase at ICE Barcelona in 2025. The event featured a range of upcoming releases from across the company’s gaming portfolio.

Alongside Ice Fishing, Evolution presented titles including Marble Race, Race Track, Fireball Roulette, Red Baron, Super Color Game, War and Lightning Bac Bo.

The exhibition also highlighted products and operations from brands within the broader Evolution group, including NetEnt, Red Tiger, Ezugi, Nolimit City, Big Time Gaming, DigiWheel and Livespins.

The release formed part of Evolution’s broader strategy of developing live entertainment-style games that combine casino wagering with host-led experiences and themed bonus content.
