Evolution’s live casino title Ice Fishing has surpassed 23,000 concurrent players, marking a major milestone for the game less than a year after its launch.

According to the company, the achievement places Ice Fishing alongside Crazy Time as one of the few titles in Evolution’s portfolio to exceed the 20,000 concurrent player mark. The game originally launched with a player capacity of 20,000 simultaneous users before recent activity pushed participation beyond that threshold.

“This week, Ice Fishing surpassed its initial player capacity of 20,000 concurrent players — and it’s still climbing, with numbers now peaking at 23,000+ players online at once,” the company said in an announcement.

Evolution added that the title continues to gain traction as player numbers rise across global markets.

Ice Fishing debuted in August 2025 as part of Evolution’s expanding lineup of live game-show products. The release introduced an arctic-themed format that combines wheel-based mechanics with interactive bonus rounds centered on ice fishing.

Wheel-Based Gameplay Anchors the Format

The game takes place on a snowy tundra-inspired set and uses a 53-segment virtual wheel where players wager on the section where the flapper will land.

Some wheel segments award instant cash prizes, while others activate one of three bonus rounds. Standard Leaf segments can produce immediate payouts that may be increased through multipliers reaching as high as 10x.
