Evolution has expanded its U.S. operations with the opening of a new live dealer studio in Grand Rapids, Michigan, adding another facility to its growing North American network.

The company said the site becomes its seventh live casino studio in the United States and the second dedicated studio serving Michigan players. Evolution previously launched its first Michigan studio in 2021 as the state’s regulated online gaming market continued to grow.

The new Grand Rapids facility will support live casino offerings from both Evolution and its sister brand, Ezugi. Players in Michigan will gain access to a broader lineup of live dealer games through licensed operators across the state.

The studio’s gaming portfolio includes traditional live casino titles such as Blackjack, Roulette, and Baccarat. Evolution also plans to introduce additional live dealer games later this year, including Ice Fishing and XXXtreme Lightning Roulette.

Ezugi’s offerings at the studio will include alternative table formats and additional game variants designed to appeal to different player preferences. Those titles include EZ Baccarat and Triple Zero Roulette.

Expansion Targets Growing U.S. Online Gaming Demand

Evolution said the new studio increases its operational capacity in Michigan while helping the company respond to continued demand for online live dealer gaming across regulated U.S. markets.

Jacob Claesson, Chief Executive Officer of Evolution North America, said the company views Michigan as a key market within its broader U.S. strategy.

“We are incredibly excited to open our new Grand Rapids studio and continue expanding Evolution’s presence in the United States,” Claesson said. “Michigan is an important market for us, and this new studio allows us to further enhance the player experience while increasing our capacity to offer our world-leading live casino content to operators and players across the state.”

The company also pointed to the economic impact of the new facility, saying the studio will create additional jobs in the Grand Rapids area as staffing needs increase.

“Beyond expanding our live dealer offering, this studio creates new employment opportunities within the Grand Rapids community,” Claesson said. “The launch of the Grand Rapids studio reflects Evolution’s continued commitment to investing in regulated U.S. markets, delivering premium entertainment experiences, and supporting local economic growth.”

Evolution currently operates live casino studios in several regulated American jurisdictions as competition among online gaming providers continues to intensify.

Evolution Marks Continued Global Growth

The Michigan expansion comes as Evolution recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. The company started operations in 2006 with a single studio in Latvia before expanding into a worldwide online gaming business.

Evolution now employs more than 22,000 people globally and operates across six continents. Its international footprint includes 24 studios along with engineering centers and offices located in more than 30 countries.

The company’s live dealer business has expanded significantly during the last several years as online casino operators increased investment in live gaming products. Evolution said its global network now includes more than 2,000 live gaming tables, representing a doubling of capacity over the past five years.

The Grand Rapids opening adds to Evolution’s ongoing North American growth strategy as regulated online gaming markets continue to expand across the United States.
