Launched in September of 2020, Blackjack Azure is another live state-of-the-art game from the team of Pragmatic Play. The company had it launched in stages. By the end of the month, 6 initial tables were presented. By the beginning of October, another 2 joined the roster. Finally, by mid-October, Pragmatic Play also introduced two high-roller versions of Blackjack Azure (with more rumored to join soon).
Low rollers can enjoy Blackjack Azure A where bets start at 10 credits. In general, 4 tables have betting limits between 10 to 2,500 credits. The tables for high rollers cover bets from 50 to 5,000 credits. For instance, Blackjack Azure J starts at 500 credits per round.
The studio adapts this live game to instant play from desktop and portable devices and makes it available in 100 currencies and 30+ languages. Like the rest of its awesome live portfolio, Blackjack Azure streams 24/7 from the exclusively built studio in Bucharest, Romania.
The release is licensed by the United Kingdom Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority. It has an RTP of 99.59%, which is the industry standard. You can count on the studio’s high-quality and multi-camera stream in 4K when playing this game.
When commenting on the launch, Lana Bleichyk, Live Casino Operations Manager at Pragmatic Play, said: “We’re thrilled to increase the number of Blackjack tables from current 5 to 15 in total further, by adding the Blackjack Azure tables to our offering, as we’re always looking to provide the best possible in-game experience to players. The brand-new look of the studio together with our engaging dealers will create a great atmosphere for players.”
What’s Unique About Blackjack Azure by Pragmatic Play?
The game has both of the side bets – Perfect Pairs and 21+3 – in action, and also introduced two unique scenarios:
- Auto-Stand and Auto-Hit are the two scenarios where you can dramatically speed up the game.
- Bet Behind is an option to place a wager on any other player’s hand. To do this, you won’t even need to have a seat at the table. This may be a perfect bet for blackjack beginners.
Each of the tables has 7 seats, and you can take more than one per table. In many ways, such a strategy is similar to playing Multi-Hand Blackjack, live dealer style. You will have 10 seconds between the bets. During the game, you may split up to 2 times. Keep in mind that the Insurance pays at 2:1.
In addition to enjoying the multi-angle stream, you will also be able to check up to 250 previous winning hands.
If you are an avid fan of blackjack, Net Entertainment’s live portfolio has an outstanding selection of this game. The Blitz variation can be played at the range of bets between 1 to 100 credits. High rollers can enjoy the VIP series.
Another great blackjack portfolio is supported by Evolution Gaming. The studio’s signature exclusive releases are Live Infinite Blackjack, Blackjack Free Bet, and Power Blackjack.
Don’t miss out on the great live lobby of 22Bet Casino. This platform has minimum deposits listed at 1 credit. The list of accepted currencies includes fiat cash and crypto. Registered players often mention that the payout requests are processed very fast at this place to bet and win.
Another recommended location to play Blackjack Azure and other great live games is Ph.Casino. The motto of the location is to provide an even more memorable experience, and the team backs the statement up with convenient banking and helpful managers.
How to Play Blackjack?
The goal of blackjack is to get a natural – a hand of 21 points, or to beat the dealer by getting as close to the number as possible (but not exceeding the limit).
The game is played with 8 decks. Once the bets are placed, the croupier deals the cards. Check yours and weigh the options. You can ask for another card – or Hit – if the dealer has 7 or higher. You can continue Hitting until you get to 17.
If the dealer initially deals you a number close to 21, you can refuse to draw additional cards. This is known as a Stand. The tactic is very helpful and it prevents you from blowing the limit and going above 21 points.
In some variations of blackjack, you can also split the cards – divide the cards of similar denomination between two hands. A rule of thumb is to split Aces or 8s but to avoid splitting numbers 4, 5, or 10. After a split, a Hit follows.
The game can be played with the initial bet, or it can also have side bets – an additional winning option you can bet money one. Two common side bets are Perfect Pairs and 21+3.
The logic of betting on Perfect Pairs is simple. You bet that you will get a pair of cards of either the same suit or color. The odds are 5:1 for different colors/suits. The bet pays 10:1 when you get a pair of the same suit but of different colors. The Perfect Pair is a pair of cards similar both in a suit and in color, and its odds are 30:1.
21+3 is a combo that has a lot in common with table poker. You will need to get a winning poker hand of your 2 cards and the ones that the dealer has facing up.
