More About the Implementation

According to the official report, Germany is working on a new online slot policy for commercial operators. These measures promote socially responsible behavior as well as the reduction of gambling harm. The country also insists on a five-second break between spins, the max limit of the stake as well as deposit caps on a monthly level. It is also important that online gaming products should be in the German language.

The country will start with the application of new rules in July 2021. It means that licenses can be issued after the same date. Meanwhile, the official authorities will include a period of transitional tolerance, allowing operators to engage with the German market if they adopt new rules. The rest of the operators, which fail to implement new regulation, will be excluded from the licensing procedure in the future.

Microgaming has decided to launch the solution in line with the German Toleration Regime. It will support the clients in the preparation process for entry in the German regulated market.

As part of the plan, Microgaming will offer customers more than 150 games involving some of the most famous – Book of Oz (Triple Edge Studios), 9 Masks of Fire (Gameburger Studios), and Bonanza (Big Time Gaming).
