Playtech Debuts Fishin’ Frenzy Live Roulette

Playtech has introduced a new live casino title that blends roulette gameplay with elements drawn from a popular slot franchise. The company partnered with Entain and Blueprint Gaming Ltd. to release Fishin’ Frenzy Roulette Live, describing the project as a collaboration between an operator and two suppliers.

The game is rolling out across Entain’s markets, including the United Kingdom, Canada, Spain, Italy, Greece and Belgium. Early performance data indicates that players in those jurisdictions have already recorded significant wins.

Blueprint owns the intellectual property behind the Fishin’ Frenzy brand, while Playtech developed the live roulette format. The companies said they combined their understanding of player preferences to design a variation on European Roulette that incorporates slot-style features and bonus mechanics.

Fishin’ Frenzy Roulette Live uses the traditional European Roulette wheel as its foundation. The action streams in real time from a sea-themed studio where live hosts manage each round. The presentation incorporates visual references to the Fishin’ Frenzy slot series, bringing themed symbols and animated features into the roulette environment.

During each spin, special symbols such as Fish, Fisherman and Bonus can appear. These features introduce multipliers and additional rounds that alter the standard table format. The familiar betting layout remains in place, but the added mechanics create opportunities for expanded payouts and bonus triggers.

According to Playtech, players can win up to 2,500 times their stake when certain features activate. The company said the design aims to maintain the structure of roulette while introducing interactive components that change how individual spins unfold.

Several features define the gameplay structure. On each spin, between two and five numbers may display Fish icons. Each icon carries a multiplier valued at up to +200. If the ball lands on a number marked with the Fisherman symbol, the feature collects all active Fish values in a single payout.

A separate Bonus number can trigger five free spins. During this sequence, total win potential can reach up to 1,000 times the original bet. At times, the Bonus round may upgrade into Frenzy Mode, which raises the maximum prize ceiling to as high as 2,500 times the stake.

Another rare addition, known as The Big Catch, can add up to +500 in extra bonus value. In certain scenarios, this feature can increase base-game winnings to as much as 524 times the original wager.

Playtech stated that these mechanics aim to introduce unpredictability into each spin while preserving the recognizable rhythm of roulette.

The production takes place in a sea-themed studio designed to reflect the Fishin’ Frenzy identity. The interface presents betting options and results clearly, with animated elements integrated into the display. Floating fish graphics and bonus indicators appear without obstructing gameplay.

The layout adapts automatically for mobile users, ensuring that betting controls and feature notifications remain accessible on smaller screens. Playtech said the platform maintains consistent performance across devices.

The launch follows a recent trading update from Playtech outlining stronger-than-expected financial results for 2025. The company reported that performance in North America, particularly in the United States and Mexico, supported improved results during the fourth quarter.
