Evolution Launches Deal or No Deal Live

The biggest release this week is undoubtedly Evolution Gaming’s Deal or No Deal Live. It is based on the worldwide smash hit game-show, where the player tries to get the best offer from the banker while opening boxes filled with multipliers.

Players in this Live version will first have to spin a wheel to determine who gets entry into the main part of the game, which runs every two minutes. Featuring a TV-style live host, a fully decked out studio reminiscent of the actual show, a host of big prizes and high-octane gameplay, this title is well worth a look in.

This game was play-tested at certain casinos a few months back and has now been rolled out across the board at casinos featuring Evolution’s full collection of live casino tables.

Check back soon for our full review and rundown of this interesting new title!

Kindred Drops Maria Casino Amid Tensions with Norwegian Regulators

The Kindred Group, owner of Unibet, MariaCasino and Bingo.com, is in hot dispute with Norwegian government this week over what regulators deem to be illegal offerings of services targeted to Norwegian players.

Kindred maintains that, under European Union rules, Norway has no authority to impinge on the activities of companies from outside its borders without EU approval. The case is not scheduled to appear in any courts as of yet, but that remains a possibility.

The news comes in a week when Kindred also announced they are closing their female-focused UK-facing brand MariaCasino and encouraging existing customers toward Unibet.

New accounts and deposits will be rejected from the 7th of May but existing account holders can still withdraw money until May 14th, when any remaining player funds will be transferred to another Kindred Group casino.
