Amusnet Expands Into North America With Ontario Licence

Amusnet has taken a significant step into North America after obtaining a Gaming-Related Supplier–Manufacturer Registration from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). The approval allows the company to supply online gaming content to licensed operators in Ontario, marking its first formal entry into the region.

The move places Amusnet within one of North America’s most developed regulated iGaming markets. Ontario has established a reputation for strict compliance requirements and a structured regulatory environment, making it a key entry point for suppliers seeking long-term growth in the region. By meeting these standards, Amusnet has secured the ability to distribute its products across the province.

The newly granted licence enables Amusnet to introduce its online gaming portfolio to operators in Ontario, with plans to expand further over time. While the company will initially focus on digital offerings, it has indicated that land-based solutions could follow at a later stage.

The regulatory framework in Ontario requires adherence to detailed standards related to technology, security, and player protection. Meeting these conditions signals that Amusnet has aligned its operations with the expectations set by one of the most tightly regulated markets in North America.

The addition of Ontario to Amusnet’s list of regulated markets forms part of a broader plan to expand across North America. The company is also assessing opportunities in other Canadian jurisdictions as it seeks to extend its footprint in the region.

Earlier in the year, Amusnet marked its tenth anniversary by showcasing its products at SBC Summit Rio. During the event, the company presented a portfolio that includes more than 270 certified games, with additional titles undergoing certification.
