As Playtech advances its research collaborations, it has also recently introduced a new live casino product developed alongside Entain and Blueprint Gaming Ltd. The companies released Fishin’ Frenzy Roulette Live, combining elements of European Roulette with features drawn from Blueprint’s Fishin’ Frenzy slot franchise.
Blueprint owns the intellectual property behind the Fishin’ Frenzy brand, while Playtech designed and built the live roulette format. The companies stated that they drew on their understanding of player preferences to create a version of roulette that integrates slot-style bonus elements without removing the traditional table layout.
The game streams from a sea-themed studio, where live hosts conduct each spin in real time. Visual elements from the Fishin’ Frenzy slot series appear throughout the presentation, including themed symbols and animated sequences. During gameplay, symbols such as Fish, Fisherman, and Bonus may trigger additional features. These can introduce multipliers or bonus rounds that adjust how payouts are calculated for that spin.
Playtech said players can win up to 2,500 times their stake when certain features activate. Despite the added mechanics, the standard European Roulette betting structure remains intact, allowing wagers on numbers, colors, and other familiar options.
Fishin’ Frenzy Roulette Live is being introduced across several of Entain’s markets. The rollout includes the United Kingdom, Canada, Spain, Italy, Greece, and Belgium. According to Playtech, early data from those jurisdictions indicates that players have already secured notable wins since launch.
The collaboration among the three companies represents a joint effort between an operator and two suppliers. Entain distributes the game across its platforms, Blueprint contributes the established slot brand, and Playtech manages the live dealer production and technical framework.
