Imagine Live has secured three nominations at the EGR Italy Awards 2026, marking another milestone in the company's expansion into the Italian online gaming market.
The live casino provider announced that it has been shortlisted in the Rising Star, AI Development of the Year and Innovation in Casino categories. The recognition comes only months after the company intensified its presence in Italy, one of Europe's most closely regulated gaming jurisdictions.
The EGR Italy Awards 2026 will take place on 20 October at the Rome Cavalieri in Rome. The event recognizes companies operating in the Italian iGaming sector and highlights achievements in innovation, product development and business performance over the previous 12 months.
The nominations add to a period of continued growth for Imagine Live as it expands its footprint across regulated markets and strengthens its distribution network through new commercial partnerships.
Italian Expansion Gains Momentum
The latest recognition follows an important regulatory achievement for the company in September 2025, when its live casino games received certification from Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) for the Italian market.
The certification confirmed that Imagine Live's products met Italy's regulatory and technical requirements, enabling operators in the country to integrate its content while meeting local compliance standards.
GLI is one of the gaming industry's most established independent testing and certification organizations. Based in Las Vegas and founded by James Maida, the company evaluates gaming products ranging from live dealer platforms to random number generator systems. Its certification processes are designed to assess security, fairness and regulatory compliance.
The organization works with operators, suppliers and regulators in more than 700 jurisdictions worldwide. Within the gaming industry, GLI approval is widely regarded as an important benchmark that demonstrates a product has undergone extensive testing and meets required technical standards.
For Imagine Live, securing Italian certification represented a significant step toward entering one of Europe's largest regulated gambling markets. The recent EGR Italy Awards nominations suggest the company has continued to build visibility in the country since receiving regulatory approval.
Growth Continues Through Partnerships and Product Expansion
Imagine Live entered the live casino sector publicly at ICE London 2023 as part of Digitain's broader strategy to expand its presence in the live dealer segment.
