Evolution has expanded its live casino portfolio with the launch of Disco Balls, a new game show that combines lottery-style ball draws, progressive multiplier mechanics and bonus features capable of increasing payouts up to 10,000x.
The release introduces a disco-themed format built around numbered ball selections and marks the first Evolution title to feature multipliers that develop throughout the main game round. The game also incorporates familiar elements from the supplier’s Funky Time brand, including the return of the character Mr Funky as a central part of the gameplay experience.
According to Evolution, Disco Balls blends live entertainment with ball-drawing mechanics, offering players multiple ways to wager while introducing a system in which multipliers can increase as rounds progress.
Ball Draws and Number Predictions Drive Gameplay
Disco Balls is structured around a betting grid featuring numbers from 1 to 20. Players place wagers on individual numbers before each round begins, while additional betting options allow selections across broader categories such as low numbers, high numbers, odd numbers and even numbers.
Once betting closes, the game enters its multiplier phase. A character known as Disco Cat distributes random multiplier values and bonus symbols across the betting grid before any balls are drawn.
Multipliers can be assigned to multiple positions, and where more than one multiplier lands on the same number, the values are combined. The game then proceeds to a series of ball draws from a machine containing both Step balls and Result balls.
Step balls increase values on one of two multiplier ladders. Red ladders correspond to odd-numbered outcomes, while gold ladders apply to even-numbered outcomes. These ladders can build to a potential 500x multiplier before the round concludes.
A Result ball determines the winning number and immediately ends the round. If the selected number matches a player's wager, the accumulated multipliers are used to calculate the payout. Evolution stated that if the first ball drawn is a Result ball, a 5x multiplier is automatically applied.
Bonus Features Expand Winning Potential
In addition to the main game mechanics, Disco Balls incorporates bonus rounds tied to specially designated numbers.
During each round, Disco Cat assigns either a Disco Bonus or VIP Disco Bonus symbol to a single number on the betting grid. These positions become bonus numbers and may also receive additional bonus multipliers worth up to 25x.
When the winning result matches a designated bonus number, players advance to a bonus game while retaining the multipliers accumulated during the main round.
The two bonus formats operate under the same core principles but take place on different-sized dance floors. The standard Disco Bonus unfolds on a 37-square playing area, while VIP Disco uses a larger 63-square layout.
Within these rounds, a mini wheel determines the movements of Mr Funky as he travels across the dance floor. Gameplay continues until the character reaches the edge of the board, with multiplier values building throughout the sequence.
Evolution stated that the game's total multiplier potential is capped at 10,000x.

Latest Addition to Evolution’s Growing Portfolio
Disco Balls becomes the latest addition to Evolution’s expanding collection of live casino game shows, a category that has become a significant part of the supplier’s product strategy.
The title draws thematic inspiration from Funky Time, one of Evolution’s existing live entertainment products, while introducing new mechanics centered on multiplier progression and ball-draw outcomes.
The release follows the launch of MONOPOLY Roll ’em, which entered the market just over a month earlier. Developed under Evolution’s exclusive licensing agreement with Hasbro, the game adapts elements of the MONOPOLY board game into a live casino format.
MONOPOLY Roll ’em revolves around dice results and board movement, with players attempting to predict where the franchise’s signature top hat token will land on a 12-space board. Multiplier features within that game can increase payouts up to 300x.
The continued rollout of new products highlights Evolution’s focus on expanding both its original and licensed game portfolios. With Disco Balls, the company adds another live game show to its catalogue, introducing a format built around evolving multipliers, bonus rounds and lottery-style ball draws while maintaining the entertainment-driven presentation that has become a defining feature of its live casino offerings.
