Evolution Gaming will resume the floor operations at the company’s Live Dealer Studio in Tbilisi. According to the press statement released on Saturday, the site will reopen in a limited capacity following the green light from the Georgian authorities.
Since the closure of this state-of-the-art production hub on 23 March, Evolution has stayed in close contact with local health agencies aiming to make every effort towards the soonest possible renewal of normal activities. During the aforementioned period, a large part of the operations has been conducted through the company’s other studios in Europe.
From 100 To Almost 2,000 Employees
Solemnly opened in April 2018 with 100 employees at that time, Tbilisi is one of the Evolution’s three main production studios together with the sites in Riga, Latvia and Fort Mriehel, Malta. Incredibly fast-growing, the hub has doubled its capacity in the course of 2019, expanding the number of tables and increasing the workforce to almost 2,000 employees.
Being home to a mix of English-speaking…
…and international game presenter teams, Lice Casino studio in the capital of Georgia was seen by the Group as a great investment for the future, able to support the company in its ambitious development plans in the coming years.
Speaking of the opening two years ago, Evolution CEO Martin Carlesund said that Tbilisi as a booming 1-million city offers „strong development and investment opportunities“ and named it „a perfect location“.
Crucial Link In Evolution Production Chain
Built to cater to multiple markets and licensees, the studio is an important link in the Evo’s production system, all the more so the company’s customer portfolio today (including Ezugi) consists of more than 300 land-based venues and online casinos.
During the last year, the brand announced an impressive number of new partnerships with top-tier operators, signing agreements with Lotoquebec.com, DraftKings, Grand Casino Baden, Planetwin365, Greentube, Stoiximan/Betano Group, Penn National Gaming, as well as Paddy Power and Betfair owned by Flutter Entertainment.
Altogether, the three main studios provide over 700 Live Dealer tables including different variants of blackjack, poker, baccarat, roulette, and other engaging games. In 2019, Evolution launched an impressive bunch of new titles including Monopoly Live, Deal Or No Deal, Lightning Dice, Super Sic Bo, Free Bet Blackjack, Side Bet City, 2 Hand Casino Hold’em, and Dream Catcher.
