ICONIC21 has built its latest live blackjack release around a change to how players fund some of their decisions. Free Double & Split Blackjack allows the house to cover additional wagers when players double down or split qualifying hands, giving participants access to these options without putting more of their own money into play.
The game retains the familiar blackjack format, although its betting conditions introduce a different approach to two common player decisions. A hard total of 9, 10 or 11 qualifies for a free double. Players can also split pairs of 2 through 9 and Aces, with ICONIC21 covering the additional stake in either case.
The arrangement changes the financial commitment attached to those moves. Players can take advantage of qualifying cards without having to increase their original wager to fund the second bet.
A Different Balance Between Player And Dealer
Offering additional wagers at no cost to players comes with a specific condition governing dealer outcomes. If the dealer finishes with exactly 22, every remaining hand without a blackjack ends in a push. Natural blackjack hands still receive their normal payout.
This rule provides the counterbalance to the free doubles and splits. It also gives operators a relatively straightforward condition to communicate to players before they join a game.
Andrii Savyntsev, Product Owner Team Lead at ICONIC21, explained the thinking behind the format: “Doubling and splitting are two of the most important decisions a blackjack player can make, but they’re also the moments that usually require committing more money to the hand. By removing that additional cost on eligible hands, we let players make those decisions based on the cards in front of them.”
He also addressed the importance of the dealer rule for casino operators: “For operators, Push on 22 is what makes the format workable. It’s a single rule that’s easy to explain on screen, and it means they can offer free doubles and splits on an unlimited table while keeping the game in balance.”

Unlimited Participation At The Table
The release also removes the conventional restriction on the number of players who can occupy a table. Free Double & Split Blackjack supports unlimited seats, allowing everyone to play against the same dealer hand simultaneously. Each participant receives an individual result, and joining does not depend on another player leaving a seat.
ICONIC21 has also included three side-bet options: Lucky 3, Pairs and Poker 3. These accompany the main game, which retains its blackjack foundation alongside the additional wagering rules.
The combination gives the release a clear structure. Players receive house-funded doubles on hard 9 to 11 and splits on qualifying pairs, while the dealer's 22 triggers a push for hands without blackjack. The unlimited-seat arrangement allows all interested participants to join the same table.
With Free Double & Split Blackjack, ICONIC21 has made the funding of selected player decisions the defining feature of its latest live casino offering.
