Pragmatic Play added two more industry awards to its collection after receiving recognition at the EGR Global 2026 B2B Awards. The supplier announced that it had been named the top Slot Supplier (over 5 years) and Casino Software Supplier (over 5 years) during the annual event.

Sharing the news on social media, the company thanked the judging panel and reflected on the occasion, stating: “A huge thank you to judges for naming Pragmatic Play as the top Slot Supplier (over 5 years) and Casino Software Supplier (over 5 years) at the EGR Global 2026 B2B awards.”

The company also described the ceremony as “another incredible evening spent with the best of the best in iGaming.”

EGR Awards Recognize Performance Across the Industry

The EGR Global B2B Awards are among the most established supplier-focused awards programs in the online gambling industry. The event recognizes companies across a wide range of categories, including software development, casino products, sports betting technology, payments, marketing, and platform services.

The awards are judged by independent industry experts who assess suppliers based on factors such as innovation, commercial success, product performance, customer service, and overall contribution to the sector.

Pragmatic Play's latest victories add to a long list of industry accolades earned over the years as the supplier has expanded its presence across regulated and emerging markets worldwide.

The company has become particularly well known for its slot portfolio and live casino products, which have helped establish its position among the largest content suppliers in the industry since entering the market in 2015.

Supplier Refocuses on Core Casino Products

The award recognition comes shortly after reports emerged that Pragmatic Play is preparing to streamline its product offering following an internal strategic review.

According to reports, the company plans to gradually discontinue its sportsbook, bingo, and virtual sports products over the coming months. Existing partners will receive support during a transition period as they move to alternative solutions.

A company spokesperson explained the decision, stating:

“Following a strategic review, we have made the decision to focus on our core market-leading verticals – in particular, slots, live casino, crash and RNG. These areas continue to demonstrate strong performance and represent the company’s primary long-term strategic focus.

“As a result, Pragmatic Play will no longer offer Bingo and Sportsbook products, following a transition period during which we will support our partners as they migrate to alternative platforms. We are working closely with partners to support this transition.”

Pragmatic Play launched its bingo platform in 2018 and entered the sportsbook sector in 2022 as part of a broader effort to offer operators multiple products through a single supplier relationship. Industry reports indicated that the latest decision was not linked to the performance of those products. Instead, the company chose to concentrate resources on areas where it already holds a strong market position.

The review places additional emphasis on live casino, which has become one of the supplier's primary growth segments. Earlier this year, chief revenue officer Mark Maislish stated during ICE that Pragmatic Play intends to open two additional live casino studios following the launch of its Bogotá facility in October 2025.

The supplier is expected to continue investing in slots, live casino, crash games, RNG products, localized content, and studio expansion across regulated markets. The recent EGR Global B2B Awards recognition highlights the segments that are now set to play an even greater role in Pragmatic Play's future strategy.
