EveryMatrix has secured conditional licensing approval from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission to provide iGaming technology services in Alberta, expanding the supplier’s regulated footprint across North America.
The approval allows EveryMatrix to supply casino and sportsbook platform technology to licensed operators in the Canadian province. Alberta is preparing to introduce its regulated iGaming market later this year, becoming Canada’s second regulated online gambling jurisdiction after Ontario.
According to the company, Alberta’s regulated framework is expected to launch in July 2026. Once active, licensed operators will be able to enter the market under the province’s new regulatory structure.
At launch, EveryMatrix plans to offer games from its in-house development arm, Fantasma Games, alongside aggregated casino content available through its broader distribution network.
Alberta Expansion Adds to North American Presence
The Alberta approval adds another regulated jurisdiction to EveryMatrix’s growing North American operations. The supplier already holds licenses in several U.S. states as well as Ontario, where it has operated since 2022.
Its current regulated footprint in North America includes New Jersey, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania.
EveryMatrix said the latest approval further strengthens its position as a tier-one supplier in the region as more regulated markets continue to open across North America.
Alberta has drawn significant attention from gaming suppliers and operators ahead of launch due to its economic profile and population size. The province has around five million residents and strong levels of digital adoption, making it one of the more closely watched upcoming Canadian markets.

Company Confirms Commercial Agreements in Alberta
EveryMatrix also revealed that it has already secured commercial opportunities in Alberta before the official launch of the regulated market. The agreements cover both platform technology and in-house gaming content.
Rani Axon, Market Manager, North America at EveryMatrix, commented on the approval and the company’s regional expansion plans.
“Entering Alberta marks an exciting step for the Group as we expand further into one of North America’s most attractive regulated markets,” said Axon. “This approval shows the strength of our compliance team and our readiness to meet regulatory requirements in any market.”
The launch of Alberta’s regulated market is expected to increase competition among suppliers and operators seeking early market access. Technology providers with existing North American regulatory experience have continued positioning themselves ahead of the province’s expected July opening.
EveryMatrix has steadily expanded its presence in regulated jurisdictions over recent years through platform technology, sportsbook services, game aggregation, and proprietary gaming content. The Alberta approval adds another strategic market to the company’s Canadian and U.S. operations as regulated online gaming continues expanding across the region.
