When LeoVegas grants Golden Chips, they appear in the “My Offers” section under Offer Cards. After claiming them within the timeframe provided, the chips automatically appear when launching the designated Playtech game. A notification confirms availability, and they are displayed in the chip stack alongside standard betting chips. Each chip shows its value and the number remaining.
Using a Golden Chip works exactly like placing a regular bet: select it from the stack, position it on the betting layout, and once placed, it is removed from the Golden Chip balance. Up to five Golden Chips can be used per round, depending on the game.
While they cannot be combined with real money in the same round, certain exceptions apply. These include:
- Poker tables, where additional real funds may be required for a “Play/Call” decision.
- Blackjack side bets or extra seats played with real funds.
- Double Down and Split actions on blackjack tables.
One important note for blackjack enthusiasts is that Golden Chips cannot be insured. If the hand results in a push, however, the Golden Chip is returned and can be used again in a later round.
Another advantage is longevity: once claimed, Golden Chips do not expire. Players may leave a game and return later to continue using any remaining chips. If they decide to switch, real money bets can be placed in subsequent rounds without issue.
