Posted on August 19, 2021 | 6:53 am

Evolution, the world’s biggest provider of live casino software and content, has signed a new agreement with Soft2Bet, one of the leading online gambling operators and platform providers in Europe.

The deal between the two parties stipulates that Evolution will set up an exclusive live casino environment for Soft2Bet, featuring three live blackjack tables in a package called “Club Royale”.

The package will be shared among the brands that are in Soft2Bet’s portfolio, which include Cadabrus, the company’s most recent online casino brand launch, and Betinia, a gamified online sportsbook.

Speaking about this deal, Daniel Mitton, Head of Casino at Soft2Bet, said: “Evolution provides exemplary live content, this new slick and luxurious environment is a key addition to our online offering across all our brands”. The Soft2Bet director added that this agreement should create new opportunities for the casino operator in the near future.

Along with operating its own casinos and sportsbooks, Soft2Bet is also a platform provider for other operators. The company has offices in Bulgaria, Malta and Cyprus, and it employs over 500 people.

A Great Year For Evolution

Evolution is the reference name when it comes to live casino content, and the company has expanded into a global powerhouse in iGaming after the acquisition of NetEnt, the famous video slots provider. The company now employs over 4,000 people in various offices and studios located in several places around the world.

The acquisition had a significant impact on Evolution’s bottom line, as revenue for the first six months of 2021 amounted to 492.5 million euros, more than double compared to the 243.5 million euros that the company recorded in the same period of 2020.

Evolution revealed that the explosive increase was mainly due to the impact of the acquisition of NetEnt. The bold move boosted Evolution’s portfolio of games and services, leading to more revenue streams being available to the company.

In fact, the additional revenue generated by NetEnt games that were added to the company’s offering is visible when looking at income from random number generator (RNG) games. Before the acquisition, Evolution didn’t have any income from RNG activity, but now it received 105.2 million euros from RNG games in the first half of the year.
