Cordish Gaming Group, which operates as a part of The Cordish Companies, has announced the appointment of new general manager Sean Sullivan. From now on, he will serve as the manager of Live! Casino in Westmoreland County, scheduled to open in 2020.

More About the Upcoming Venue

The Pennsylvania-located venue will stretch over 100,000-square-foot gaming space and offer excellent amenities for players including a dining and entertainment possibility in the well-known Westmoreland Mall, 30 miles from central Pittsburgh. The $150 million casino will feature a selection of gaming options including 750 slots, 30 live table games as well as well-equipped entertainment venues including Sports & Social Steel City.

The expectations for the new gaming space are more than optimistic. Live! Casino is expected to generate $188 Million per year with an additional $148 Million for the construction period, when it will provide residents with 960 job positions.

Manager’s Duties

As the newly appointed manager, Sean Sullivan will supervise the construction of the casino as well as the daily operational activity of the staff. A man with more than 40 years of experience has supported leading gaming companies all around the USA. Before joining the project, he has been active at Treasure Island Resort & Casino in Red Wing as general manager as well as in Special Projects at Pinnacle Entertainment in Las Vegas as Vice President.

Sullivan has also spent a good part of his career as Vice President and GM of Meadows Racetrack & Casino in Washington, Pennsylvania, located about 20 miles from Pittsburgh. Thanks to his wide experience and expertise in the gaming and hospitality industry,  Sullivan will support the opening of the Live! Casino venue and monitor the completion of the project.
