Evolution is taking Ice Fishing into the United States after the live game show built an international audience of more than 26 million players. The company has now introduced the title in New Jersey, Michigan and Delaware, extending a game that has recorded over 469 million fish caught since its global launch in 2025.
The American rollout is also tied to Evolution’s studio operations. In Atlantic City, New Jersey, the launch coincides with the opening of the company’s fourth Live Casino studio in the city. Michigan players receive the game through Evolution’s Grand Rapids studio, which began operating earlier this year.
A New Market For An Established Live Game
Evolution’s announcement points to further US expansion, with additional regulated markets expected to receive Ice Fishing over the coming months. The company has not yet named the states included in its next rollout phase.
Jacob Claesson, Chief Executive Officer at Evolution North America, said: “Ice Fishing has become a viral hit with players around the world, and we’re excited to now bring that experience to the US It’s fun, fast and unlike anything else in our Live Casino portfolio. This is just the beginning for Ice Fishing in the US, and we look forward to bringing the game to more players and more markets over the coming months.”
The company also used its LinkedIn announcement to highlight the international player total and fish-catching figure, presenting the US arrival as the beginning of a broader market rollout.
A 53-Segment Wheel Sets The Pace
The game opens with a virtual wheel containing 53 segments. Players place bets on the positions where they expect it to stop. Leaf 1 and Leaf 2 provide instant payout opportunities, while the remaining featured bonus options lead to Lil’ Blues, Big Oranges or Huge Reds. An All Bonuses bet covers all three categories.
Once betting closes, the wheel spins and its flapper identifies the winning segment. A result on either Leaf section produces an immediate payout. Landing on a bonus section starts the corresponding fishing game, although only players who backed that specific category can participate and win. Other players can observe the round.

Different Fish Carry Different Payout Ranges
The bonus rounds take place in an Arctic environment, with each fish assigned a multiplier. Lil’ Blues has a range of 3x to 100x, Big Oranges offers 4x to 200x, and Huge Reds carries values from 10x to 500x.
Random multipliers can also affect the wheel before the result is settled. Leaf sections may receive a 3x, 4x, 5x, 7x or 10x boost. Bonus segments can be assigned multipliers between 2x and 10x. When a bonus segment receives one, the fish multipliers in that round increase before the host begins reeling in the catch.
The host reveals the fish gradually, with its final multiplier becoming clear once it is out of the water. That value determines the player's payout.
With its first three states now covered, Ice Fishing enters the next phase of Evolution’s US expansion. Further availability will depend on the company’s planned launches in other regulated markets.
