The payouts for the main best, hi and lo, depend on which card is up. The fewer ranks that you can win on mean the higher the payouts. So if you bet high against a jack your payout will be relatively high, because you can only win with three ranks, a queen, king, or ace. If you bet low you will get paid significantly less because you are going to win most of the time. Alternatively you can bet on Snap (to try to hit the same card again) which pays out over 12:1.
In addition to the hi, lo, and snap bets, you can also make a few side bets. These pay out as follows:

- Red pays 1.92:1
- J, Q, K, or A pays 2.89:1
- 6, 7, 8, or 9 pays 2.89:1
- 2, 3, 4, or 5 pays 2.89:1
- Ace pays 11.56:1
- Ace or King pays 5.78:1
