Playtech, the global supplier of technology and content for online casinos, has agreed with FanDuel a deal which will see the provider’s live casino content reach the operator’s customers in Ontario, Canada’s most populous province.
The deal will see Playtech provide branded live casino titles to FanDuel in Ontario, allowing the operator to expand its offering and cement its position on this very competitive and lucrative market.
Playtech described this agreement as “a key milestone for both companies.” The supplier is constantly looking for opportunities to expand its operations in North America. Last month, it signed a subscription agreement with NorthStar Gaming, securing the possibility of gaining a larger stake in the Canadian operator.
The deal required Playtech to build an entire dedicated live casino studio which will serve FanDuel Canada exclusively. The studio is based in Riga, the capital city of Latvia, and it was designed to meet the demands of the Canadian market.
Among the games offered to FanDuel customers we can mention Roulette, All Bets Blackjack, Baccarat, and 7-Seater Blackjack. The agreement can be expanded to cover the other Canadian provinces, if and when they decide to open their markets to licensed private operators.
