Evolution Signs New Agreement With Sky Betting & Gaming

Evolution, the world’s most powerful supplier of live casino software and content both for online and land-based casinos, has announced the signing of an agreement with Sky Betting & Gaming, a division of Flutter Entertainment, one of the biggest online casino operators in the world.

Evolution already had live casino deals in place with other brands operated by Flutter Entertainment, such as FanDuel, but now its award-winning live dealer games will also be included in the offering of Sky Betting & Gaming.

This means that online casino brands such as brands Sky Vegas, Sky Bet and Sky Bingo will begin to feature Evolution’s live casino content. The Sky brands already had slot games from Red Tiger in their offering and will also re-launch slots from NetEnt, and both studios are part of the Evolution Group.

Speaking about the agreement, Andrew Rushgrove, Gaming Managing Director at Sky Betting & Gaming, recognized the “strong performance of Evolution’s live casino portfolio and the sheer breadth and variety of content”.

Moreover, the Sky Betting and Gaming executive said that titles such as Crazy Time and Lightning Roulette should become quite popular with the customers of Sky Vegas for instance.

Gionata La Torre, Europe Chief Executive Officer at Evolution, said that the supplier is “honored” to forge a partnership with “yet another Flutter company” and added that Sky Betting & Gaming has “an impressive line-up of household name gaming brands.”

Evolution’s continuous expansion also brought more money into the company’s coffers. The group’s operating revenue for the twelve months ended on 31 December amounted to 1.46 billion euros, a figure which represents an increase of 36.3 percent over the 1.07 billion that were generated in the previous year.

Most of the revenue came from Evolution’s live casino portfolio, which was responsible for 1.19 billion dollars of all revenue generated during the 2022 financial year. That represents an increase of 41.6 percent over the previous year and it was mainly due to increased commission income both from new and existing customers.

After having acquired slot providers such as Red Tiger and NetEnt, Evolution is also growing on the random number generator (RNG) games market. In 2022 the revenue from RNG games went up 17 percent compared to the previous year, amounting to 268.4 million euros.
