Playtech Marks Biggest Tournament Series on iPoker Network

Playtech, an award-winning gambling tech company, has just enhanced its iPoker tournament series, Elite Series Winter Edition, one of the biggest events on the iPoker network. This is one of the huge steps of the company overcoming the last year’s Winter Series.

Organized between December 1, 2023 to January 16, 2024, this event surpassed the €7,000,000 target, gathering close to €10,000,000 in prize pool and providing more than 800 tournaments in several formats. The most recent Elite Series Winter Edition consisted of daily tournaments with buy-ins between €3 to €1,000 along with the total of 93 events with a €20,000 or bigger GTD. The event also introduced Mystery Bounty and the usual tournament setups.

According to the company’s statement, a seven multi-stage Mystery Bounty during the Series is remarkable success, providing a significant €650,000 to the total series. This was the biggest single-entry count in the history of iPoker and along with the Mystery Bounty delivered on the iPoker.

Going forward, the iPoker Network will be a host of the €5,500,000 GTD Bounty Hunter Series XL, which is a follow up on the immense success of the Elite Series Winter Edition. Scheduled to take place from March 1 to April 1, 2024, the Bounty Hunter Series XL is going to be the biggest Knockout Series on the iPoker Network, additionally solidifying its position as a leading online poker platform within the industry.
