Expert developer of live casino solutions, Evolution Gaming, has closed a deal with Scientific Games to optimize its Lightning roulette experience for land-based casinos around the globe.

The agreement will see the Evolution Lightning Roulette live wheel, and its noteworthy game setting with random RNG multipliers, available at land-based casinos via Scientific. It will be the initial Evolution game, different than the company’s Dual Play Roulette and Baccarat (which are streamed from brick-and-mortar venues) to be optimized from live to land-based mode.

Released as the live game in 2018, Lightning Roulette has received several prizes for top-tier performance including the recognition for Product Innovation of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards, as well as the prizes at G2E Las Vegas and EGR's Game of the Year. The game comes with a typical roulette wheel while also including stunning visual elements that integrate both live and RNG gameplay. Lightning Roulette also adds high-payout RNG ‘Lucky Number’ wins in each round.

Both brands are already working on several projects in the European, Canadian, and US continent. Evolution’s live casino games are part of Scientific’s platform, and Evolution has also developed online live casino versions of Three Card Poker and Ultimate Texas Hold ’Em from Scientific.

Speaking on the new deal, Chief Product Officer at Evolution, Todd Haushalter, said:

Haushalter added that Evolution has millions of players who already enjoy the game, and there should be an immediate fan base eager to play at their local casinos. When creating the Lightning Roulette, the provider was combining the elements of random computer outcomes with physical real-world results for the first time. It will also be the first time that the Evolution game has been available in land-based casinos.

On the other hand, Senior Vice President of Global Systems and Table Games at Scientific Games, Rob Bone, noted:
