The state legalizes both simulcast and pari-mutuel betting. It also has several racetracks although it has been a while since live races were held. Connecticut is one of the few states to allow greyhound racing. There is even a Shoreline Star Greyhound Park — a track where this type of racing can be held but for a while now, the location offers only simulcast betting.
