Evolution has released MONOPOLY Roll ’em, a new live dice game created under its exclusive partnership with Hasbro. Based on the globally recognized MONOPOLY board game, the title places the familiar top hat playing piece at the center of rounds built around dice results, player predictions and multipliers that can rise as high as 300x.

The game takes place on a 12-square board, with players predicting where the MONOPOLY top hat will finish its journey. Each round follows a short sequence that begins with betting, moves into a building phase and concludes after two dice determine the top hat’s final position.

Players can choose from several betting options before wagering closes. These include Low, covering dice totals from 2 to 6; Seven, covering a total of 7; and High, which applies to totals from 8 to 12. Players can also select individual numbers when placing their bets.

Houses Add Multipliers Before the Dice Roll

Once the betting period ends, MONOPOLY Roll ’em enters its building phase. MONOPOLY houses then appear randomly across squares on the board, placing multipliers on selected positions before the main result is decided.

When several houses appear on the same square, their effect stacks and increases the multiplier attached to that position. The multipliers can reach up to 300x, creating different potential payout values across the board before the dice are rolled.

After the building phase finishes, two dice shakers roll at the same time. The game calculates the combined total once both dice stop, and the MONOPOLY top hat then travels around the board to the corresponding winning square.

This movement gives players a visual way to follow the result as it develops. The combination of randomly placed houses and the final dice total determines which board position becomes relevant at the end of the round. The company’s social media announcement also highlighted the movement of the top hat across the board as a central element of the live game experience.

Todd Haushalter, Evolution’s Chief Product Officer, described how the company adapted the familiar MONOPOLY property to the dice-based format.

“MONOPOLY Roll’em takes the instantly recognisable MONOPOLY brand and applies it to a straightforward, fast-moving dice format. The result is a live game that is easy to understand from the first round, but still creates anticipation as houses appear on the board and multipliers begin to build.”

Multiple Betting Choices Shape Each Round

The betting structure allows players to choose broader ranges or select a precise dice total. Low and High cover several possible outcomes, while Seven focuses on a single total. Specific-number wagers provide another way to follow the result once the two dice shakers begin rolling.

The board remains central throughout this process. Before the dice decide the outcome, randomly generated houses change the potential values of individual squares. Once the dice produce a total, the top hat advances to its destination and reveals the completed result.

Haushalter said the different wager types formed part of the approach taken when developing the game.

“We created MONOPOLY Roll ’em to deliver an energetic and engaging experience. Players can keep things simple with Low, Seven, and High bets, or target specific numbers for more entertainment value. That flexibility, combined with the visual clarity of the board and the movement of the MONOPOLY top hat, gives the game a strong rhythm and creates an engaging live entertainment experience.”
