Evolution is preparing to add Disco Ballsto its live game show portfolio on 9 September 2026. The disco-themed title builds on the atmosphere of Funky Time and features Mr Funky, while introducing a multiplier system that develops during the main game round.
Disco Balls uses a lottery-style draw in which players predict the number selected from 1 to 20. Bets can cover individual numbers or broader groups including Low numbers from 1 to 10, High numbers from 11 to 20, Even numbers and Odd numbers.
The winning number comes from a Result ball, with the payout determined by the multipliers attached to the successful bet.
Multipliers Develop During The Main Round
Once betting closes, Disco Cat enters the game and places random multipliers and Bonus symbols across the numbered betting grid. Multiple multipliers assigned to the same number are added together.
The game then draws balls from a machine containing Step balls and Result balls. A Step ball advances either the red odd-number multiplier ladder or the gold even-number ladder. Each ladder can rise to 500x.
A Result ball ends the round and establishes the winning number. Players whose selected number matches the Result ball receive a payout based on the multipliers accumulated on that number. If the first ball drawn is a Result ball, the game applies a 5x multiplier.
Disco Balls introduces several multiplier types. Cat multipliers range from 3x to 20x, while Ball multipliers range from 3x to 10x. Ball multipliers can be added again when Disco Cat returns during the game.
Bonus Symbols Open Two Dance Floors
Disco Cat can mark one number on the betting grid with either a Disco Bonus or VIP Disco Bonus symbol. The marked number becomes a Bonus number for that round and can receive an additional Bonus game multiplier of up to 25x.
A Bonus game starts when the Result ball matches the number carrying the relevant Bonus symbol. Any multipliers collected during the main round then carry into the Bonus feature.
The two Bonus games use the same mechanics while taking place on differently sized dance floors. Disco uses a 37-square floor, whereas VIP Disco uses 63 squares.
During either feature, a mini wheel determines Mr Funky's movement. His position changes according to the wheel's result until he falls from the edge of the dance floor. The combined multiplier across the game can reach a maximum of 10,000x.

New Format Extends Evolution's Live Game Range
Disco Balls marks the first Evolution game to use evolving multipliers throughout its main game round. The format combines numbered ball draws with multiplier ladders and a separate Bonus system.
The title also brings back Mr Funky from Funky Time, placing the character within a new disco setting built around ball-drawing gameplay.
Evolution has scheduled the release for 9 September 2026. The company describes the game as a live casino experience in which multiplier values can develop as the main round progresses, with further opportunities available when a Bonus number wins.
