Playgon Games, a Canadian company which specializes in delivering mobile live dealer technology to online casino operators, has announced that it has secured a license from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, the regulatory agency which is in charge of overseeing the regulated iGaming and sports betting market in the province of Ontario.

The license allows Playgon Games to become a supplier for licenses iGaming and sports betting operators which are already operating in Ontario, delivering them its mobile live dealer platform which streams games from a dedicated studio located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The company’s live dealer platform is called VegasLounge and it has been registered as a trademark by the Canadian supplier. The developer offers Roulette, Blackjack and Baccarat, all streamed live from Las Vegas with professional dealers at the table and with a broadcast that is optimized for mobile devices.

Speaking about the Ontario license, Darcy Krogh, President and Chief Executive Officer of Playgon Games, described this moment as “a major milestone” for the Canadian company and declared that the supplier is “extremely excited for the opportunity in this market.”

Moreover, the Playgon Games CEO revealed that this represents the “first entrance into North America” for the company when it comes to the live dealer technology it supplies. The company executive underlined that 32 percent of the revenue generated by online casinos in Ontario has come from live dealer tables, and that is why the province’s market is “very attractive” for the Canadian company.
