Does it make a difference if I follow a roulette betting strategy?

No. When playing live roulette your strategy does not affect the odds in the game and the house edge will still remain the same.
Just because you change your betting patterns does not mean that an event is more likely to happen or not happen.
However your betting strategy/system definitely does affect how volatile your session will be.
If you deposit £100 and bet £20 on a single number, chances are that this session will be over very quickly.
If you do the same deposit but instead put bets on red/black, in general you are likely to last a lot longer at the table.
